General Information


  • Reception facilities for 400
  • Minimum 100 persons required for a Sunday thru Friday event
  • Minimum 150 persons required for a Saturday event
  • Events are limited to six hours and all events must conclude at midnight
  • Charges are per person, not by the plate
  • Balance due one week prior to the scheduled event
  • Deposit at the time of booking is $1,000.00 and is non-refundable
  • A number guarantee of guests must be made one week prior to the event     
  • Tulle and baby white lights for head table and cake table are available to rent for $75.00
  • China, silver and linens are standard for all dinner functions
  • Lace skirting is used on the head table, cake table and gift table for a wedding. Other skirting is available for banquet functions
  • Use of microphone, guest book table, card cage, and head table platform at no charge
  • Hall set up and clean up included in the package price


  • Convenient downtown location with ample lighted parking
  • Akron Police security provided at no charge for parties of 200 or more. $150.00 for parties smaller than 200


  • Outside catering is not permitted
  • Outstanding cuisine prepared by our chef
  • Bar charge which includes bartenders, mixes, plastic glasses, ice and fruit is $3.50 per person
  • Bar closes ½ hour before the scheduled end of your event
  • Alcoholic beverages are to be delivered to hall between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm the day prior to event (no draft beer)
  • Lighted door display is available to rent for $25.00
  • Separate Bar and Buffet rooms
  • Carving at the buffet line at no extra     
  • Pastry arranging charge is $50.00
  • Cake cutting service including plastic forks and plates for serving at no additional cost
